Earn more, work less, with long weekends. Our Second Shift TIG Welder - Fabrication & Machining role lets you work four days a week (4/10 schedule), enjoy a 30-minute paid lunch, and earn a $2/hour shift differential for evening hours. You’ll work in a focused, less hectic shop environment on high-precision TIG welding projects in stainless steel and aluminum and have three full days off to recharge.
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM (with a paid lunch break).
Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate components from blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings using GTAW (TIG) processes.
- TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals to tight tolerances and with high-quality weld appearance.
- Safely and efficiently operate assigned welding equipment.
- Read, understand, and accurately execute work orders and QA standards per job requirements.
- Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Perform quality checks during production to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience in 16-gauge to 1/4-inch stainless steel and aluminum.
- Must successfully complete a weld test required before employment.
- Ability to weld in GTAW (TIG) and proficiency in welding stainless steel and aluminum.
- Knowledge of metal plate types, sizes, and shapes; ability to read measuring devices (tape measures, squares, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Flexible and willing to work extended hours as needed.
Working conditions:
- Stand for extended periods; sit, talk, hear, read, and write; use hands to handle tools; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Indoor shop setting with occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience as described above.

Qualifications:
