Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Are you looking to start a career in manufacturing? We are seeking dependable and motivated Assemblers to join a growing production team in Point of Rocks, MD. This hands-on role involves assembling products, operating basic production equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. No prior experience is required, and training is provided.

• Assemble components and products according to specifications.
• Fasten parts together using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, and other assembly methods.
• Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
• Inspect products for quality and remove defective items.
• Operate machinery used in fitting, fastening, and assembly processes.
• Work at various stations throughout the production area based on business needs.
• Adapt to changing product lines and production requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• No previous experience required; training provided.
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, construction, or carpentry is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
  Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently use hands for handling, assembling, and moving materials.
• Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.
• Continuously lift up to 25 lbs.
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. with proper assistance and equipment.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and in varying temperature conditions.

• Manufacturing and production setting.
• Exposure to machinery, industrial noise, dust, and changing temperatures.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and eye protection.

• $17.00 per hour
