As a Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll help create a warm and supportive experience for all volunteers—from their first inquiry through to ongoing involvement. This role ensures that every volunteer feels welcomed, informed, and appreciated, while also helping Bethlehem Centre run smoothly through thoughtful coordination and communication.

• Respond to volunteer inquiries and promote current opportunities
• Interview prospective volunteers to assess their skills, interests, and suitability for Bethlehem Centre’s needs
• Assist with scheduling and role-matching based on skills and interests
• Help welcome new volunteers (onboarding, orientation, training, and initial support)
• Maintain volunteer records and contact lists, Maintain volunteer records and contact lists, safeguarding privacy at all times
• Communicate regularly with volunteers to provide updates and support
• Liaise with staff to identify volunteer needs
• Help coordinate volunteer appreciation and recognition efforts
