Copper Ridge Nursing is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our skilled nursing facility. This position involves both direct patient care and supervisory responsibilities as a charge nurse. We welcome clinicians who are passionate about caregiving and eager to advance their careers.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess residents' health to provide quality care.

Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans, assist during procedures.

Maintain accurate healthcare records and reports, including PCC documentation.

Supervise and train CNAs and GNA staff.

Administer medications, injections, and provide emergency care as needed.

Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Assist DON in staffing and resource management to minimize overtime and agency usage.

Evaluate staff performance and ensure timely patient services.

Create a respectful, team-oriented environment that responds to staff, patient, and family needs.

Monitor nursing care to reduce hospitalizations and promote positive outcomes.

Facilitate effective communication between shifts.

Review admissions for capacity and readiness.

Notify physicians and families promptly of significant health changes.

Address patient and family complaints appropriately.

Requirements:

Current LPN license in the state.
BLS/CPR certification.
Knowledge of nursing care methods, safety guidelines.
Responsible, compassionate, organized, and communicative.
Experience supervising GNA and CNA staff in a nursing home setting.
