Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Largo, MD | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Self-Scheduling

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work night shifts on a 36-hour-per-week expected schedule with every other weekend availability
• Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled
• Float within the Labor and Delivery specialty as required
• Complete all required onboarding compliance steps, including labs within 72 hours of contract signing and all compliance documents at least 5 days prior to start date

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• NRP certification required (NRP or AAP accepted)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
• Comfort with floating within specialty scope and adapting to varied patient assignments
• CPI certification (The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor)

• Self-scheduling structure offers flexibility in managing your work-life balance within contract parameters
• Traveler may request one major holiday off during the winter season per assignment
