Manchester Veterinary Services - DVM/VMD Extern

Founded in 1981 by Dr. Tim Sorrells, Manchester Veterinary Services is a long‑standing and reputable companion animal practice in Manchester, Maryland. The practice recently completed a 10‑year equipment and facility improvement process, and in September 2020 we opened a brand new location three minutes north of the former clinic’s site. With this new expansion and updated equipment, the practice is able to offer a broader range of services to its clients, including routine veterinary work, x‑ray, dental, ultrasound, surgery, and therapy laser services.

The practice promotes a collaborative culture with strong clinical skills in wellness and dentistry and encourages career progression. The staff sometimes performs sedated cat grooming, and the practice has helped two VAs through the RVT program to obtain licenses.

What to expect: mentorship from multiple strong veterinarians, experience with basic soft‑tissue and ophthalmic surgeries, fully equipped with in‑house lab capabilities, digital x‑ray, ultrasound and therapeutic laser, and an excellent culture with low turnover.
