Golf Maintenance Worker

Troon Golf, LLC is hiring 15 Golf Maintenance Workers for a temporary, full‑time seasonal position in St. Michaels, MD. The work period is approximately March 15, 2026 through October 31, 2026.

• Landscape or maintain grounds using hand or power tools and equipment.
• Mow, edge, trim, lay sod, water, weed, prune, rake, and core aerate.
• Spread grass seed, fertilizer, and mulch.
• Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and clean and store all equipment.

• Pre‑employment criminal background check and drug testing required at the employer’s expense, applied equally to all domestic and foreign workers.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Must be able to work in varying weather, including hot and humid conditions outdoors.
• Must be able to perform regular physical labor and continuous movement such as bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, and standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to safely operate a motorized cart.

• Full‑time – at least 35 hours per week.
• Shifts available Monday – Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (hours may vary).
• Paid bi‑weekly; wages calculated each workweek. Minimum hourly pay $19.19 with overtime at 1.5 × ($28.78).
• On‑the‑job training, tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no cost to the worker.

• Lodging provided for $100 per week with a $200 non‑refundable deposit.
• Transportation to and from the worksite provided; bicycles given or shuttle vans used in inclement weather.
