Quality Assurance Technician I (Security Clearance)
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician I Department: Quality Assurance Reports To: Director of Quality Assurance Classification: Non-Exempt
Primary Function: Under direct supervision, the quality assurance technician I will perform and document inspections of manufacturing products and materials.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Perform inspection of manufactured parts and assemblies per provided data packages.
- Document inspection results on approved forms.
- Perform incoming inspection on raw material and outsourced processes.
- Review and signoff on redlined drawings and engineering change requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing quality.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Use of basic inspection tools (e.g., calipers, gauge blocks, thread gauges, micrometers).
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain results and methodologies.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Ability to stand at a workstation for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
