Are you a Quality Engineer from an electronics manufacturing background looking for a technically varied role where you will be trusted to drive standards across multiple aerospace and defense programs?
On offer is a high-impact role with genuine ownership, maintaining and improving a Quality Management System in a regulated environment, at a growing business backed by major long-term contracts and with clear routes to progress.
This well-established manufacturer has a long track record in aerospace and defense and is going through an exciting period of growth following recent acquisitions and continued contract demand. As a result, they are looking to add an experienced Quality Engineer to support ongoing expansion.
In this role, you will support ISO
9001 and AS9100 compliance, work within established QMS processes, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, and help train assemblers and testing technicians on standard SOPs. You will report directly to the Director and work across multiple projects.
This role would suit a Senior Quality Engineer (or Quality Engineer) with electronics manufacturing experience who wants a long-term, high-impact position with real ownership, technical variety, and a clear route to progression.
The Role:- Senior Quality Engineer position within electronics manufacturing (aerospace and defense environment).
- Supporting ISO
9001 and AS9100 compliance within an established QMS. - Leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Training and coaching assemblers and testing technicians on standard SOPs.
- On-site in Laurel, MD on a 9/80 schedule Monday - Friday.
- Quality engineering background within electronics manufacturing
- Working knowledge of ISO
9001 / AS9100 and experience using QMS systems
