Ensuring the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times. Maintains a proper level of clean inventory with a high standard of cleanliness according to the sanitation code.

• Wash and store all dishes, trays, utensils, cups and equipment used.
• Set up and break down dish machine. Clean and polish machine thoroughly and check to see it is operating correctly.
• Remove trash from kitchen area and clean and sanitize trash receptacles.
• Assist the cooks and servers as necessary.
• Record all breakage.
• Exhibit ability to multi‑task, prioritize and work with limited supervision in a team environment.
• Because of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.

• Education and/or Experience
  :
  High School diploma or equivalent, unless company sees capability without minimum education requirement. Previous kitchen experience helpful.

  Basic English.

  Basic math.

  :
  None required.

Standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. Manual dexterity, auditory and visual demands.

General kitchen back‑of‑house atmosphere, resort atmosphere with many varied aspects. Duties may be mentally demanding or stressful at times, particularly during peak season time periods. Seasonal outdoor conditions that include a variety of winter weather.
