Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and servicing a book of small commercial lines accounts, including generalist and contractor accounts up to $100,000. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal training.

Compensation Package
  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Earning Potential: $60,000 - $80,000 (including commissions and bonuses)
  • Benefits:

Responsibilities
  • Manage and service a book of small commercial lines accounts, including generalist and contractor accounts up to $100,000.
  • Handle policy changes, address client inquiries, and assist with claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current clients.
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Limited sales responsibilities (7% commission on first‑year sales, no renewals).
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Licensure:
    Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
  • Preferred:
    Familiarity with Erie Insurance.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in IMS Zanatek and Agency Zoom CRM software.
  • Work Ethic:
    Self‑starter capable of hitting the ground running with minimal training.
  • Interpersonal

    Skills:

    Strong communication and customer service skills.
