Department: Brackenheath Business Development Manager - Sales

Reports To: Senior Product & Sourcing Manager

• Sales Strategy & Execution:
  Develop and deliver a focused sales strategy within the electrical wholesale trade channel to meet targets and forecasts, with a strong emphasis on the next generation outdoor lighting range and building a scalable stockist network to drive growth.
• Promotional Activity:
  Plan and lead promotional campaigns, supporting the stockist network to increase sales‑out performance and market visibility.
• Account Development:
  Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers to stock the new 2026 range, while identifying range extension opportunities that deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
• Forecasting & Performance Tracking:
  Produce accurate sales forecasts and report against KPIs to track performance and support informed decision‑making.
• Cross‑Functional Working:
  Work closely with internal teams to ensure clear communication, effective support, and alignment with wider business objectives.

• Experience:
  
  2‑5 years of experience in an external sales role within the lighting manufacturing sector, specifically managing wholesale accounts.
• Proven Success: A strong history of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
• Effective Communication:
  Ability to influence and communicate at all levels within the business and with customers.
• Motivated & Driven: A self‑starter who is passionate, motivated, and ambitious, with a strong desire to succeed.
• Full UK Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is required for client visits.
