Charter Sales Representative – Coach USA

Schedule:
Monday‑Friday (Weekends may be required).
Coach USA/Dillons in Hanover is looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Charter Sales Representative for our charter services. The role involves identifying new prospects and developing business opportunities within our charter segment.
Job Details- Full Time
- Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 (based upon experience)
- Location:
Hanover, MD - Schedule:
Monday‑Friday (Weekends if needed)
- Answer all charter calls, emails, quotes & direct calls when needed to the appropriate department
- Quote all charter trips & book charters via phone, email or walk‑in
- Pursue new business based on market knowledge and company objectives to meet revenue budget goals
- Cold‑call and conduct outside sales when required
- Use the company’s sales booking systems in making sales, tracking availability, and maximizing customer contacts; currently Distinctive
- Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to determine focus on sales efforts
- Maintain weekly call spreadsheet of all calling efforts, marketing efforts and business wins
- Daily communication with the operational team to ensure quality service
- Manage small or large charter projects when required
- Follow up on payment for upcoming trips / request & upload signed contracts
- Enter charter payments (credit cards, checks, cash)
- Prepare expense money & envelopes for charters
- Prepare paperwork for drivers (maps, instructions, work orders)
- Order, distribute, and manage employee uniforms & vouchers when required
- Assist in preparation of regulatory scheduled reports
- Complete projects requested by your manager
- Perform other tasks needed within office duties for the sales department / office
- Excellent communication skills
- 3‑5 years’ experience in sales
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong oral and written skills
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely in one‑on‑one and small group settings
- Ability to demonstrate reasoning in standardized situations involving multiple variables
- Transportation industry experience is a plus
