Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to work in a security operations center and related environments. Your keen observation and detail orientation will enable you to identify threats before they grow.

• Site location:
  Fedelsburg, MD 21236
• Temp job – morning shift Sunday through Thursday 7 AM–3 PM; must be available weekends and holidays.

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents and write detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual and concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience – a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid security license.
• CPR certified.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Prior supervisory experience.
