As a Security Officer Full Time Shopping Mall in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and staff.

• Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help maintain an orderly environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
