Overview
Our Hinckley Yacht Services yard is looking for an experienced Marine Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Baybridge and Easton, MD. This service yard performs complex mechanical repairs and installs on marine vessels.
Responsibilities- Must be comfortable working on all boat systems, including Hamilton water jets and engines by Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Cummins or FPT.
- Work on onboard plumbing systems, hydraulics system installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience with the ability to install complete mechanical systems; drive to meet or beat schedule and budget for projects with minimal rework.
- Ability to write condition reports on boats, prepare estimates, and plan projects through to completion.
- Ability to work independently and may lead a small work team.
- Marine experience required.
