Lighting Controls Programmer and Electrical Service Technician

Seeking an experienced and driven AV Integration Electrician with 4 years of hands‑on experience in high‑end home audio, video, and smart home solutions in Queen Anne’s, MD.

Pay: $35 – $45 /hour (BOE and License)

• Oversee and perform power installation for AV systems, control rooms, and other AV environments.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, state, and local codes—including low‑voltage systems.
• Coordinate closely with AV engineers, project managers, and installation teams to align electrical infrastructure with AV system design.
• Supervise and mentor electrician apprentice’s and AV technicians on proper electrical practices.
• Pull permits, meet with inspectors, and manage jobsite compliance documentation.
• Assist in planning, budgeting, project bids and material procurement related to electrical aspects of AV projects.

• 4 years of experience in electrical work; at least 2 years working with or supporting AV/low‑voltage systems.
• Deep understanding of electrical load balancing, conduit layout, panel schedules, and dedicated AV circuits.
• Familiarity with AV infrastructure, including equipment racks, displays, lighting control systems, and integrated power supplies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
