Foreman – Concrete

Beitzel Corporation is hiring a Foreman – Concrete to provide leadership and hands‑on support for our concrete teams across construction, manufacturing, power plants, oil and gas, renewable energy, and more.

Description

In this role, you’ll manage projects, lead crews, and solve on‑site challenges. The job requires flexibility, travel, and extended hours (weekends, holidays, possibly night shifts) while keeping safety paramount.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead jobs, including schedule and production tracking, material placement, installation, finishing, curing, and post‑job inspections.
  • Read and interpret job documents such as blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Train, lead, and mentor less experienced concrete workers and run crews.
  • Oversee complex tasks such as vertical and suspended pours or installing shoring and jack‑posting.
  • Execute technical aspects of concrete work, including installing, dismantling, and moving forms, mixing masonry, and running vibrators.
  • Mark site layouts for footers, foundations, ditches.
  • Establish job‑site elevations, points, and benchmarks using laser, transit, and other methods.
Working Conditions
  • Walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or tools; reach with hands and arms.
  • Climb ladders and stairs; crawl, kneel, or lie down for extended periods.
  • Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Climb and perform work at heights of 30+ feet.
  • Breathe effectively while wearing a respirator.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 3+ years of concrete experience, including pours, finishes, rebar, and carpentry.
  • Strong construction and mechanical knowledge.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Mastery of basic concrete tools such as trowels, concrete saws, vibrators, and screeds.
  • Proficiency in operating small equipment such as forklifts, mini excavators, manlifts, skid steers, and trench compactors.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

This position requires completion of a thorough background check and pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening. Employees must participate in random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion testing as requested.
