In this hands‑on role, you’ll use advanced welding, fitting, and fabrication expertise to solve on‑the‑spot design and functionality challenges for our customers. Most work will be solution‑based, requiring you to think creatively and work without plans or drawings. As a Field Welder III, you’ll bring a deep understanding of industrial welding and be proficient in industrial construction. Your expertise will play a key role in the success of each project, and you’ll have the opportunity to further expand your knowledge and skills.

This position requires a flexible schedule, with travel and out‑of‑town work. You’ll need to be willing to work extended hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and possible night shifts.

• Provide certified AWS and ASME welding services to construction trades and various construction, industrial, and mechanical projects.
• Perform general labor for a variety of trades such as concrete work, rebar, masonry, welding, pipe fitting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, etc., as required.
• Weld using different techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and oxygen acetylene cutting.
• Perform layouts, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
• Perform pipe fitting.
• Read welding and piping blueprints.

• Sit, talk, hear, read, and write.
• Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations.
• Work in extreme temperature conditions and environments.
• Perform work at a variety of heights.

• 3+ years of industrial welding experience preferred.
• AWS D1.1 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessels Certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to weld components in all positions required (flat, vertical, and overhead).
• Possess proven SMAW (Stick) welding skills and GTAW (TIG) welding skills – testing required.
• Must be able to effectively design, modify, measure, determine proper angling, fabricate, and weld steel and piping.
• Possess a strong mechanical knowledge.
