Position: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I with Security Clearance

electrical technician i department: aircraft integrations reports to: aircraft integration supervisor classification: non-exempt job summary: under direct supervision, responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations. Duties/responsibilities:
* install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components
* assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
* modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, in accordance with electrical drawings/schematics.
* ability to understand redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
* build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, iaw the electrical drawing /schematics.
* perform other duties as are necessary and/or required. Basic requirements
* 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information, attention to detail.
* ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
* recurring fod training and awareness, upon hire and annually
* ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
* high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred requirements:
* knowledge of ipc/whma-a 620 certification physical requirements:
* must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
* manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
* must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
* ability to traverse manufacturing facility
