Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to perform software development activities as a member of an agile development team. You will be responsible for turning agile stories into new capabilities, from development and testing to deployment. This is an opportunity to contribute to a complex system, focusing on either server‑side business logic or client‑facing web application and user interface (UI) development, with a strong emphasis on Dev Ops automation and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD).

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least 5+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience with Java
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with languages like Python, C/C++, and SQL
• Experience with Web Application User Interface Development
• Knowledge of web services (SOAP, WSDL, WADL) and data formats (JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT)
• Experience with JEE (EJB, JPA, JTA, etc.) and application servers (Tomcat, Web Logic, JBoss)
• Experience with Agile developer practices such as TDD, Refactoring, and BDD
• Experience with secure software development and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
