Program Overview Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions.

About

The Role The project supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools.

The TTO is performed out of the Peraton facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities. Candidate will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary language. The development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the team. This position will allow an early career software developer to develop and broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use current technologies such as Quarkus and Prime Faces.

Use of these technologies allows for full stack development, to include ease of building User Interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
* Debug existing software and correct defects
* Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
* Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
* Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
* Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

* Note:

4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree

* A minimum of 6 months' experience with Java

* Familiarity with:
* Agile methods and tools

* Relational databases such as Postgres

* Using Maven, Git and Jenkins environments

* Ability to work in a team environment; good communication and collaboration skills; self-starter

Benefits:
Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan. SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000.

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
