What the opportunity is and why you should work here:

Working as a member of our software development team, this role will contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of custom software, business applications, and web and mobile experiences. You will develop backend services using Python, build interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and more, create mobile applications using React Native (among other mobile technologies), and work with PostgreSQL to support reliable application data and business workflows.

You will also contribute to application deployments, automation, and development workflows using Azure, Odoo.sh, and Git Hub. With support from experienced teammates, you will take responsibility for assigned features and participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through testing, deployment, and support.

What you will be doing day-to-day:

Develop, maintain, and improve stable, scalable, and secure Python applications, backend services, APIs, and business process integrations.
Build engaging, responsive, commercial, and secure web interfaces using JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
Develop and support full lifecycle mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
Design and maintain PostgreSQL tables, queries, and migrations with attention to accuracy, performance, and data integrity.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
Connect applications with third-party services and business platforms through APIs and integrations.
Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, perform manual developer testing, develop automated tests appropriate to the work, and support QA and UAT processes.
Support application deployment and delivery automation using Azure, Git Hub, Odoo.sh, Git Hub Actions, and other technologies as the Company determines.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues, communicating progress and escalating when appropriate.
Follow established practices for security, authentication, access controls, secrets management, PII, CPI, OWASP, NIST, and such cybersecurity standards as practices as the Company determines.
