Join Our 100% Chiropractic Franchise as a Group Exercise Instructor

We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Group Exercise Instructor to lead members through a structured fitness program that enhances overall fitness, strength, and endurance while maintaining a safe and motivating environment.

Major Responsibilities
  • Pre‑Class Preparation
    • Arrive 10‑15 minutes early to set up equipment, prepare music, and greet participants.
    • Interact with members to answer questions, assess progress, and introduce new participants.
    • Ensure all equipment is functioning and safety protocols are in place.
    • Wear appropriate fitness attire (Gold’s Gym branded attire preferred) and proper footwear.
  • During Class
    • Introduce yourself and the class format to participants.
    • Provide clear verbal and visual instructions and maintain a supportive atmosphere.
    • Monitor participants continuously to ensure correct form and offer variations for all fitness levels.
    • Create a motivational and enjoyable environment for everyone.
  • After Class
    • Remove music, return microphones, and leave the room ready for the next class.
    • Answer any participant questions or concerns.
    • Solicit feedback to improve future sessions.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Ensure classes begin and end on time; adjust flow as needed to stay on schedule.
    • Follow closing procedures for the last class of the day as directed by the Group Exercise Director.
    • If unable to teach a scheduled class, find a qualified substitute and notify the Director promptly.
    • Maintain consistent class schedules and communicate effectively to minimize cancellations.
    • Attend required staff meetings and complete time‑recording procedures.
    • Prepare incident or witness reports when necessary and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
    • Promote Gold’s Gym and GGX enthusiastically.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least six months of teaching in a group exercise setting.
  • Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
  • Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
  • Ability to perform a variety of exercise routines effectively.
  • Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting audio equipment.
  • Specialized instruction credentials (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, etc.) with verifiable proof of education.
  • Certification in group fitness by ACE, AFAA, or ACSM.
  • Current CPR certification and basic first aid training.
  • Physical capability to lift light weights, bend, squat, jump, run, reach, walk, hop, spin, and kick.
