The group exercise instructor’s goal is to provide world‑class group exercise experiences that are safe, effective, and exceed member expectations. The instructor is a vital connection to our members and plays a key role in the company’s brand promise of "Making People Feel Comfortable" and our core purpose of "Changing People’s Lives". The instructor reports to the Group Exercise Director.

- Chief Strategy Office
- Deliver world‑class group exercise experiences each class that are safe, effective, and motivating.
- Assist in educating members about safe, effective exercise techniques.
- Achieve agreed‑upon class attendance targets for each scheduled class.
- Full responsibility for teaching all assigned group exercise classes.
- Arrive to teach all classes a minimum of 10 minutes in advance of the class start time.
- Begin and end all classes on time as scheduled.
- Be prepared for all scheduled classes.
- Teach the class format that is scheduled.
- Full responsibility for coverage for any classes that require substitution.
- Download and utilize the Group Ex Pro App, including entering class attendance immediately after each class and utilizing the substitution process within the app.
- Read and action posted notices and communications as necessary.
- Attend semi‑annual Group Exercise Team Meetings.
- Maintain certifications and continuing education for all actively taught programs, including CPR.
- Role model the Brick Bodies Core Values.

- Be a Team Player.
- Represent the Brick Bodies brand positively in all classes, internal/external events, and any personal marketing tactics promoting Brick Bodies classes/programs (social media, etc.).
- Assist in promotion of club events and activities – read the announcements at the end of each class.
- Be a supportive, responsible, and respectful Brick Bodies Team Member – you are a representative of the brand!
- Complimentary multi‑club membership (must teach a minimum of 2 times per week consistently).
- IDEA Club Connect Membership, which includes unlimited complimentary CECs.
- Eligible to receive partial or full reimbursement for industry workshops outside of Brick Bodies, including online courses.
- Free child‑care for up to two hours while teaching.
- Opportunity to grow in a reputable, internationally known program.
