Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Yard Truck Driver at Ryder in Port Deposit, MD.

Video/Yard Spotter.

• Base Pay: $1180 or more per week (Hourly Pay: $28.50 plus $1.00 per hour for PM shifts)
• Hours:
  
  40 hours/week – Wednesday to Saturday.
• Shift: 6:00 PM Wednesdays; 12:00 AM (schedule details in video).

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard and within an area on public roads.
• Maintain compliance with safety & DOT regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and yard inventory records.

• Assist in warehouse operations when needed.
• Deliver SOLOTo:
  Yard Jockey and Off‑site fueling.
• Operate yard tractor – Yard experience a must.
• Operate Dry Van 48’ or 53’ trailers with forklift equipment.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background, and motor vehicle check (last 3 years), DOT physical, and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A CDL with verifiable experience:
• ≥9 months in past 3 years, or
• ≥2 years in past 5 years, or
• ≥5 years in past 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, or procedures.
