Ryder System, Inc. has just opened a brand new state‑of‑the‑art warehouse in Port Deposit, MD and is immediately hiring permanent full‑time Cherry Picker Material Handlers.

Pay
: $21.50 per hour for Day Shift;
Warehouse positions pay weekly.
Schedule
:
Day Shift Wed‑Sat 6am‑6pm (half‑day on Wed).

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1+ year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License (certified)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player, able to work independently and within a diverse environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, good attendance record
• Initiative, high level of accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging products; loading/unloading trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour
• Perform other duties as assigned
