Our team provides the right parts and brands for every application and partners with more than 400 suppliers to bring high-quality parts to customers. Parts Authority is expanding and looking for candidates to join our team as a Warehouse Associate – Returns.

• Open all boxes to ensure that returned items are correct and that the items are sold by the company
• Separate returns into “core”, “defect” and “new”
• Put account number stickers on cores and defects
• Redistribute new merchandise to other stores
• Enter each returned item into the computer system
• Assist inside returns team in creating negative purchase orders
• Work with sales staff and managers if there are problems with customer returns
• Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Focus and stay on task in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Time management skills
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs; frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
• Occasionally sit and climb ladders or stairs or balance
• May be subject to environmental conditions and temperature changes
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus
• Ability to work under pressure and with others
• Open availability, flexible schedule, and ability to work various shifts and overtime
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets
