Ryder has opened a brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art warehouse in Port Deposit, MD and is immediately hiring Permanent Full‑Time Cherry Picker Material Handlers.

Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour for Day Shift (Wed‑Sat 6am‑6pm with half day on Wed).

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Team‑player in a diverse work environment.
• Professional relationships at all levels.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Punctual with good attendance record.
• Minimal supervision required.
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Can lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Can stand for long periods.
• Adheres to health and safety procedures.
• Available for flexible shift schedule.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up.
