This driver position transports equipment between Sysco locations and yards overnight. Responsibilities include inspecting tractors and trailers, moving empty and full trailers, documenting trip details, and fueling tractors when needed. Typically, two trailers connect for each trip.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform pre-trip inspections of tractors and all trailers
- Pick up empty trailers at Sysco locations
- Drop off full trailers at Sysco locations
- Drive tractors to yards where needed
- Maintain travel logs and fuel tractors as needed
- Ability to perform tractor and trailer pre-trip inspections
- Ability to drive to Sysco locations overnight
- Ability to connect and transport two trailers typically
- Ability to maintain accurate travel and repair logs
- Ability to fuel tractors as needed
