Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem - Variable
Location:
Marysville, Yuba‑Sutter County, Central California.

Leads the ultrasound department in delivering clear, accurate images and assists physicians in diagnosing.
Supervises and mentors ultrasound personnel, oversees quality assurance, and maintains equipment.
Job Requirements- High School Education/GED or equivalent:
Required - Associate’s or Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience:
Preferred - Diploma/certificate from an Ultrasound college/school:
Required - Three years’ sonography experience:
Preferred
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification:
Required - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography:
Preferred - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI RVS):
Required
- Review daily ultrasound schedule, assign staffing, equipment, and supplies; prioritize emergent procedures, minimize patient waits, and optimize turnaround times.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, direct high‑frequency sound waves, capture quality images, summarize, document, verify, and present findings, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information; preserve patient image integrity while complying with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
- Supervise and mentor personnel, including orientation, training, development, scheduling, and performance improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manage supply inventory.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
