For us, working here is more than just a job; it’s a passion. In the role of Customer Service Representative you will play a pivotal part of our Supply Chain team.
Responsibilities- Coordinate, support, and improve commercial processes while positively influencing customer satisfaction.
- Process inter‑company purchase orders, customer transactions—including orders, quotes, invoices, and returns—accurately and on time.
- Provide accurate information regarding product availability, lead times, special orders, and other inquiries.
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
- Contact customers after sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
- Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction and communicate with purchasing and planning departments.
- Maintain proficiency with PCs, data‑entry terminals, and common office software.
- Follow company policies and procedures and present a professional image to customers and vendors.
- Participate in operational improvement activities and perform other tasks as needed with flexibility, including overtime when required.
- Escalate customer issues to the manager as needed and account for performance KPIs used to monitor department performance.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 4‑5 years of data entry and customer service experience.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of basic ERP/MRP functions and applications preferred.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills; works well under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally; strong prioritizing and multi‑tasking skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
