Job PurposeThe Delivery Engineering Group conducts Discrete‑Event Simulation studies for Delivery impact analysis of mass‑pro Run‑Rate and/or E‑flow Investment change‑points for NM, Layout Inno/Renovation, and Capacity changes for manufacturing regionally across North America.
Key Accountabilities- Conduct mass production run‑rate analysis studies utilizing Discrete Event Simulation and Data Analytics & Statistical tools to support Delivery run‑rate target achievement in North America Weld and Assembly depts as part of BP theme activity.
- Software Training Regarding Simulation & Data Tools.
- Fulfill manufacturing dept requests to study delivery impact due to NM/NM‑Tech/Innovation E‑Flow investment studies to determine feasibility and ROI by completing simulation model development, validation, scenario testing, sensitivity analysis and optimization.
Minimum Education al
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial (and Systems) Engineering.- Minimum Experience: 0‑3 Years.
- Other Job‑Specific
Skills:
Simulation Software Experience Not Required, But Ideal. - Knowledge of Basic Statistics and Basic Excel Functions.
- Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project team.
Remote capable 20% of the time, At desk in open office.
Individual project assignments.
