Job

Purpose

The Sr. Account Representative manages new model development activity from award issuance to mass production start timing following Honda’s 6‑phase new model review process between the customer, HT offices, suppliers and/or vendors. Program development may take 1‑3 years from award through mass production launch, with the final step being a successful launch of HTA supported parts. The role also includes quality requirements from model award, mass production, and service;

supporting documentation requirements, investigating and counter‑measuring trouble reports, managing design changes, and any other quality‑related activity. Working with the supplier to ensure hard counter‑measures are implemented and effective. Communication between HTA and the customer must be clear and continuous.

Key Accountabilities
  • Quality New Model Development and Mass Production Quality: coordinate development, review, report, and submit all new model documents required for launch; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and on‑target completion.
  • Honda Information Management: support ongoing review, analysis, and reporting to Honda on additional development requirements for design changes (eDICS), trouble reports (NARS), capacity inquiries (CMS), and packaging (NAPS).
  • Supplier Visits: visit at various stages during the new model review process to foster good relationships, train on launch process, and validate information.
  • Internal Meetings: facilitate meetings with relevant parties to review NM project status and hand‑off materials to mass production teams.
  • Quality Assurance Validation / New Model Review Activity: lead in reviewing supplier self‑assessment of their QAV to verify ranking meets viable category; perform and validate business quality audit on potential new suppliers.
  • Import and Export Quality Report: manage quality trouble reports, communicate with suppliers, investigate issues, and update customers on progress.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education al

    Qualification:

    BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar, or relevant minimum experience.
  • Minimum Experience:

    3‑5 years in automotive or Honda Tier 1 new model, quality and/or mass production.
  • Project Management;
    Quality audit (ISO 9001, TS 16949, ISO 14001) and quality validation audit;
    Strong analysis skills;
    Microsoft‑Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
    Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
