Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Senior Facilities Project Engineer in Marysville, OH. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) managing critical utility infrastructure, designing mechanical/electrical systems, and directing capital projects ($0.5M-$30M).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead design, construction, and commissioning of high-reliability plant utility and mechanical infrastructure.
- Manage capital investment budgets, contractor bidding, and engineering procurement schedules.
- Supervise on-site engineering contractors, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NEC, and NFPA building codes.
- Implement energy efficiency and decarbonization strategies for chillers, power distribution, and boilers.
- Provide expert engineering support to resolve plant equipment emergencies and minimize recovery time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or 6+ years equivalent experience.
- 6-10 years of industrial facilities engineering, capital project management, or utility systems experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial building codes, Revit/AutoCAD, and computerized asset systems.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, contract management, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
