Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Production Equipment Senior Engineer in Marysville, OH. You will serve as Project Leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) designing optimal machine concepts, establishing specifications, and executing automated equipment projects for new vehicle launches.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop optimal machine concepts and automated equipment designs utilizing sound engineering principles.
- Perform detailed process feasibility studies of new vehicle components using 3D CAD simulation tools.
- Author formal Equipment Specification and Scope of Work documentation for machine tool vendors.
- Lead small-to-midsize capital equipment projects, managing critical path schedules and milestones.
- Provide on-site engineering support during equipment installation, integration, and buyoff runoffs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in automated equipment development, machine design, or manufacturing engineering.
- Hands-on proficiency with 3D CAD software and automated machinery simulation tools.
- Strong technical communication and cross-functional project management skills.
- US work authorization without employer sponsorship required.
