We are seeking a Safety Specialist to apply scientific and practical safety knowledge to design and improve safety systems, processes, equipment, and tools.
Key responsibilities include:- Leading and supporting safety improvement projects and department initiatives.
- Implementing PDCA cycles to reduce injuries and hazards, ensuring continuous safety enhancements.
- Supporting safety culture through collaboration with leaders and safety committees.
- Interpreting safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and documenting safety activities.
- Analyzing safety data, reporting results, and developing technical expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-4 years of safety experience.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, injury prevention, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, data analysis, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work in manufacturing environments.
Open and manufacturing environments with possible overtime, varying shifts, and minimal travel. Ability to perform production line work if needed.
