We are looking for an RN to join our Pre-admission Testing team! In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn how to do the clinical and clerical pieces of patient care to better support the patient’s experience. In this role you will:

• Perform delegated nursing functions under the supervision of the RN using established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards of care.
• Manually clean and disinfect patient care items and equipment; notify director of missing or malfunctioning equipment.
• Answer phones, record messages; greet patients and visitors.
• Prepare charts for physician clinics and schedule patient appointments.
• Document and report observations to the nurse or provider; accurately document patient care provided on appropriate hospital forms and within the established time frames.

• Active nursing license and a degree from an accredited program.
• Completion of RN degree.
• 2 years experience in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Personal computer, data entry, and communication skills.
• Acquire American Heart Association BLS in 60 days.
