$48.00/hr - $53.00/hr

We are looking for a PLM Business Analyst to Lead requirements, process design, solution validation and change adoption across domains such as BOM/BOE, change management, configuration, and digital manufacturing workflows—working cross functionally with CAD/ERP/ALM teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discovery & requirements:
    Run workshops with engineering/manufacturing/IT; produce BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria; maintain a living backlog aligned to Honda governance cadence.
  • Process design (AsIs/ToBe): eBOM↔mBOM alignment, BOM/BOE policy, change/ECR/ECO, configuration and DPM workflows; define data/metadata and guardrails.
  • Solution enablement (platform-agnostic):
    Author functional specs for configuration/customization; coordinate with technical teams on integrations to CAD, ERP and ALM; ensure minimal viable customization and data quality.
  • Quality & release:
    Own test strategy/UAT (scenarios, data prep, execution, signoff), cutover checklists and hypercare; track defect/escape metrics.
  • Governance & reporting:
    Participate in daily huddles, M /Q ; ensure SLA adherence and contribute to KPI dashboards for decision support.
  • Continuous improvement & automation:
    Identify efficiency opportunities (including automation/GenAI in PLM support and user enablement) and progress approved PoCs/MVPs.
  • Training & adoption:
    Create SOPs, job aids and quick start guides; deliver end‑user sessions and maintain a structured knowledge base.
Must Have Qualifications
  • 5+ yearsas a PLM Business Analyst in automotive/discrete manufacturing.
  • Strong BOM/BOE expertise (eBOM↔mBOM alignment, options/variants, effectivity) and change management (ECR/ECO).
  • Proven delivery across requirements → process design → UAT/cutover → adoption in enterprise PLM programs.
  • Integration awareness across CAD (e.g., CATIA/NX), ERP (e.g., SAP) and ALM, and the ability to work with technical teams on interfaces/data integrity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication; comfortable operating onsite with business & IT.
Good to Have
  • Experience creating governance/KPI views (e.g., Qlik/Power BI) for monthly reviews.
  • Exposure to automation/GenAI in PLM support (e.g., user access workflows, knowledge retrieval).
  • Understanding of digital manufacturing/DPM workflows and cross‑region collaboration.
Education

Bachelor’s in Engineering/CS or related;
Master’s is a plus.
