. This position requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure comprehension of safety‑sensitive training, procedures, and workplace communications.

The purpose of this position is to perform water‑blasting work for MPW FEM.

• Continuously work in an efficient and safe manner.
• Perform “cleaning work” as directed, including general floor cleaning, removal of residue from underneath equipment, detailed cleaning of paint booths and ovens, covering the cleaned area with plastic or paper to enhance efforts, cleaning “paint grates” in caustic or through water blasting, cleaning and dressing robots, setting up water blasters, changing nozzles and guns, and performing maintenance on the equipment as required or scheduled.
• Assist with on‑the‑job training of new hires and transfers.
• Keep work areas and break areas in the cleanest possible condition.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Ensure the work is completed within the established time frame and that quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards.
• Follow directions as provided by the supervisor.
• Report any and all issues to the supervisor immediately.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• Some High School Education acceptable.
• Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.
• Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

• Ability to move up to 50 lbs, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to maintain a consistent manual‑labor workload.
• Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
• Ability to position oneself for work conducted in or around confined spaces.
• Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
• Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, exceeding typical 8‑hour shift time frames.
