Operator/Shapes Technician (Marysville) – Allied Mineral Products

Location:

Marysville, OH. (At Industrial Ceramic Products a Division of Allied Mineral Products)

Shift: Mon - Fri 7am - 3:30pm or 3:30pm - 12am

• Understand and operate basic machine functions
• Operate automated and semi automated equipment
• Change materials and demold parts in fast‑paced production environment
• Assemble and disassemble production dies and tools
• Gauge production according to customer specifications
• Detail/sand production parts for functionality
• Load and unload production parts
• Responsible for completing daily assignments to meet customer demands for production
• Assist in training new employees as needed
• Assist in maintaining an orderly plant layout – clean and organize areas as necessary

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Dependable and able to maintain the attendance required to perform the job.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and fully understand SOPs, SDSs, labeling, safety and health regulations, and procedures within the job, this job group, and the plant.
• Basic math skills (adding and subtracting).
• Ability to identify defective production parts.
• Ability to operate and read a scale.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Environment can be dusty and dirty.
• Work area is in a hot and/or cold environment.
• Required to wear respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.

• Must be able to lift and carry 55 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to qualify for and wear a respirator.
• Prolonged periods working on feet and performing repetitive actions that involve frequent bending and stooping.
• Job requires lifting, pulling, pushing, turning, stacking, standing, and operating a foot pedal.
