What You'll Do
We have Part-Time positions at 48 hours and over
- Patient Care:
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver comprehensive care to obstetric patients. - Care Coordination:
Direct and coordinate all nursing care for your assigned patients, ensuring seamless and effective care delivery. - Collaboration:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient care delivery. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate data collection and ensure documentation reflects the care provided, adhering to hospital policies and time frames. - Patient
Education:
Provide timely health information and written materials to patients and their significant others, documenting these interactions. - Quality Improvement:
Contribute to the enhancement of nursing care through participation in performance improvement initiatives. - Professional Development:
Accept accountability for your practice and development; stay updated with current nursing standards and hospital policies. - Professional Image:
Consistently project a positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
- Education & Licensure:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Continuing
Education: - Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved Continuing Education (CE) every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Certifications:
- Continuous certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Attain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain continuous certification.
