Retail Scan Associate (Part‑Time)

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer.

• Perform in‑store data collections at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes at multiple locations in each store.
• Provide quantity data for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete display scanning for the entire store each week (several hours).
• Execute custom project tasks when requested by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for certain weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver accurate, high‑quality data.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure extended periods on your feet and lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, or stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and leg movements for prolonged periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
