Residential Sales Representative – Hall's Culligan Water

Hall’s Culligan of Marysville is looking for an outgoing, upbeat team member who is driven to succeed as our new Residential Sales Professional. As the premium provider of drinking water and water treatment services for the greater part of a century, Hall’s Culligan continues to innovate and expand our business nationwide by offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer backed by our superior Culligan service.

As a Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities. This role will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s customer base and establishing strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer relationship management skills, demonstrate excellent product knowledge, and be comfortable negotiating and closing deals.

What you’ll do Prospecting and lead generation
  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels.
  • Cold call, email, and network to generate leads and create a strong pipeline.
Consultative selling
  • Understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate products/services, highlighting value.
Negotiation and closing
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Close sales deals and achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
Customer relationship management
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Market and competitive analysis
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
Product knowledge
  • Understand details of products and services sold.
  • Continually learn and stay up to date with new product, service, and trend developments.
Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records with appropriate photos attached.
Safety
  • Practice safe driver policies at all times.
  • Keep a clean, organized, clutter‑free workspace.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and practice proper incident reporting procedures.
Work Environment

Culligan Sales Representatives spend much of their time out in the field, completing regular travel within their assigned territory. You will be exposed to various work environments, including indoor and outdoor spaces and a variety of weather conditions. This role will primarily work in residential settings and may involve pets. You will spend extensive time driving within your territory and will have relatively flexible work hours.

Your qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must pass driving record check).
  • Ability to drive a vehicle 5+ hours per day.

  • Ability to self‑direct activities and manage time for productivity.
  • Must pass drug screening per company requirements.
  • Must be able to utilize personal vehicle for sales activities, meeting vehicle requirements per company policy.
