** Marysville, Ohio (OH)**. As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all aquatic facility members and guests. Flexible schedule within the following hours of operation: M-F 5am-6pm, Sat 10am-3pm.###
** Your Impact:*** ### Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.* ### Enforce and explain rules as necessary.* ### Respond appropriately to any emergency.* ### Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.* ### Attend all required staff meetings and training.* ### Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels;

cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.* ### Maintain a professional attitude.* ### Other duties as needed/assigned.###

* Minimum Requirements:

*** ### Must be at least 16 years old.* ### Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
* Site may be able to provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.** ### Meet Health Fitness Fitness and Skill standards.* ### Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.* ### Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
* ### Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.### All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of:* ### 500 yard swim.* ### Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.* ### Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.* ### Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.

Compensation: $14/hr - $16/hr pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
