Health Fitness is hiring part‑time lifeguards! Are you a strong swimmer with a passion for ensuring the safety of others? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Lifeguard located in Marysville, Ohio (OH). As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all aquatic facility members and guests.

5‑29 hours/week. Flexible schedule within the following hours of operation: M‑F 5am‑6pm, Sat 10am‑3pm.

• Monitor and ensure safety and well‑being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Ensure the needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure a safe environment for members.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. Site may provide Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.
• Meet Health Fitness fitness and skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert, and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre‑employment drug test.

• 500 yard swim.
• Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.
• Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.
• Other various techniques learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.

Compensation: $14/hr - $16/hr pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
