We are looking for a Materials Handler to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health.

• Monitor supply par levels in consuming departments’ supply areas; download data from a hand‑held computer to a personal computer; deliver picked supplies; shelve department supplies; maintain order of departmental supply areas; monitor expiration dates on supplies in Materials.
• Assist the Store Handler to pull orders from the stockroom for delivery to the supply area; assist with receiving; deliver special order items; file documents pertaining to the purchasing process and hazardous materials. Substitute for other positions in the department as needed. Assist other Materials staff as time permits.

• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
• Attend all mandatory education and in‑services (team training, safety, infection control, etc.) and complete mandatory health requirements.
• Perform within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s and department’s Ethics and Compliance program and take responsibility for detecting, observing, and reporting compliance variances to the immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the hospital hotline.

• Completion of high school education.
• Demonstrable ability to lift approximately fifty (50) pounds.

1st – M‑F (8a‑4:30p). Subject to change based on business needs. Some travel required due to inventories located at the surgery center.

80 per pay (Every two weeks).
