Print Shop Technician - 2nd Shift (4p start) - SCM MV

Safran Cabin Materials located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for a Print Shop Technician - 2nd Shift.

Schedule:

4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday. Training is 2:00pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday, for 2–3 months. Training rate: $20.00/hr shift differential: $1.25/hr during training; $2.00/hr after fully trained and working the 4:00pm–2:30am shift.

• Verification and withdrawal of materials.
• Set up and operation of equipment.
• Hand stacking lined paper coming off the print machine at varying speeds.
• Use of viscometer, pumps, scales and hoist.
• Ironing adhesive to materials.
• Stocking materials as needed.
• Making and attaching “dog ears” used as a mechanism to assist in further processing of the hobes.
• Complete production documentation, quality control and housekeeping activities.
• Willingness to learn and perform to standard expectations; closely supervised with limited independent judgment.
• Basic housekeeping duties on equipment and within the department.
• Active participation in operational improvement activities.
• Willing to cross-train or transfer to other departments as needed.
• Conduction of routine tasks as directed; other tasks as needed; flexibility is key.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

• Desire to work and ability to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• 2+ years relevant, steady work history preferred; manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to speak/read/write English proficiently.
• Legible handwriting/printing.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.
