Print Shop Technician - 2nd Shift (4p start) - SCM MV
Safran Cabin Materials located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for a Print Shop Technician - 2nd Shift.
Schedule:
4:00pm to 2:30am, Monday to Friday. Training is 2:00pm to 12:30am, Monday to Friday, for 2–3 months. Training rate: $20.00/hr shift differential: $1.25/hr during training; $2.00/hr after fully trained and working the 4:00pm–2:30am shift.
- Verification and withdrawal of materials.
- Set up and operation of equipment.
- Hand stacking lined paper coming off the print machine at varying speeds.
- Use of viscometer, pumps, scales and hoist.
- Ironing adhesive to materials.
- Stocking materials as needed.
- Making and attaching “dog ears” used as a mechanism to assist in further processing of the hobes.
- Complete production documentation, quality control and housekeeping activities.
- Willingness to learn and perform to standard expectations; closely supervised with limited independent judgment.
- Basic housekeeping duties on equipment and within the department.
- Active participation in operational improvement activities.
- Willing to cross-train or transfer to other departments as needed.
- Conduction of routine tasks as directed; other tasks as needed; flexibility is key.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Desire to work and ability to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- 2+ years relevant, steady work history preferred; manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Good basic math skills.
- Ability to speak/read/write English proficiently.
- Legible handwriting/printing.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.
Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions.
