Base pay range
$21.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Responsibilities- The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores.
- Utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store s physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance, and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store.
- Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in criminal and civil court actions.
- Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to oneself, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
- Demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.

1 Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; PT will be eligible for 20 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service;
Temporary associates are not eligible for vacation benefits.
2 Sick time (Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma) — Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; PT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 2 hours per month, whichever is greater.
Sick time (Seattle) — Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; PT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 2 hours per month, whichever is greater.
