Join Ryder Supply Chain Solutions as a Permanent Full Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician. This role supports our truck fleet in Marysville, Washington on the first shift (7:30 am–4:00 pm). Monday–Friday, weekends off. Hourly Pay: $31.00. Certification Bonus up to $700. Quarterly Bonus up to $500.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
• Basic tools, required
• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work)
• Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred
• This position requires you to drive Ryder vehicles. Must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background check (drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years).

• Perform vehicle maintenance, repair, and standard component inspections.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose basic mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers.
• Identify root causes of failures and perform required repairs, including replacement of defective components.
• Maintain facility and shop equipment, following safety and compliance guidelines.
• Interact with drivers and customers to determine the nature of complaints.
• Utilize the Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Perform other support duties as required, including Service Island support.
